– Model H Shelving System
The Model H Shelving System is a freestanding, stackable shelving system, designed for maximum flexibility in the home, office or studio.
The design is inspired by a shelving system (no longer in production) that was utilised in the graphic design studio Omnific! (1985–2018).
Inspired by the flexibility and simplicity of the original, Fred Birdsall re-imagined the shelving system for his own graphic design studio and now, after requests, has made these available to order.
Depending on the method of stacking there are 3 alternate shelf height combinations:
— Small; 235mm high (paperbacks)
— Standard; 350mm high (books, magazines, vinyl)
— Extra large; 450mm high (oversized books, storage).
Please note that the small and extra large shelf heights are only achievable in combination with the standard shelf height. You can view the combinations here.
Each unit is CNC machined from birch plywood and then hand finished in the workshop. Units are shipped in sustainable packaging and are supplied as flat pack. Assembly is extremely easy, you will require a hammer (or rubber mallet) and a cross head screw driver. Assembly instructions and fixings are supplied with each unit.
